Paco
Sanchez is known throughout Europe as one of the most productive Jazz
Rock and Flamenco music artist photographers of his generation. He has
photographed many of the legends of the Jazz, Rock and Flamenco worlds
during over thirty years of shooting entertainment photography. His archives
contain almost 17,000 black and white negatives and an additional 5,000
color slides. These images in many sizes can be purchased through Paco's
web site.
Paco
has been interested in photography since he was a young boy growing up
in Sevilla, Spain. He started shooting photographs of entertainers in
1975 in the town of Sevilla where he grew up. Still living in Sevilla,
Paco continues to shoot but now only shoots the most prominent of the
most popular artists.
Paco
is widely published on Album (CD) Covers, Magazine Covers, Music Catalogs
and Posters pertaining to the music world throughout Spain and Europe.
Paco's Photography hangs on the walls in many exclusive homes of the most
prominent music artists in Europe and especially in his home Country of
Spain. His photographs has been exhibited in many buildings of the most
prominent cities in Spain such as Malaga, Benalmadena, Valladolid, Huelva,
Cortegana, Zufre, Isla, Cristina, Fuenlabrada, Almeria, Cordora, Granada,
Sevilla, Olivares, Pilas Castilleja and Jerez de la Frontera.
Paco
has published various books by himself. The most prominent is "Flamenco
on Stage-A book on the First Biennial of the Art of Flamenco in the City
of Sevilla". In addition, he has collaborated with other local photographers
on another 2 books called: "Camaron" & "Antonio Mairena" Each book
is a profile on 20 Flamenco Artists. He has three books in preparation
consisting of Portraits of the most famous artists of the contemporary
Flamenco world, also playing with him self. These are a collection of
over twenty years of the entertainers who participated in many of the
Festivals of Andalucia. |
