Presentation to Tim Bullard

Most long time photographers do not get the chance to have their pictures taken for the obvious reason that they are on the wrong side of the camera. Some complain but most that love their art take this in stride. Well on October 22, 1999 I took exception to this rule. I shot a picture of a photographer shooting a picture of a dignitary at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

Tim Bullard is the Photographic Editor for our local newspaper. His photographic credentials are exemplary.

The rest of the story: Tim Bullard and I (W. Scott Frazeur) were at the same Chamber of Commerce sponsored luncheon for State Labor Commissioner Jack Roberts. I shot a photo of Tim shooting a photo of Commissioner Roberts. I closely sinked my flash with Tim's so that he had no clue that I had taken a picture. ....I later had the photo enlarged to a 16" X 24" and had it mounted and ready to be framed. I informed MaryAnn, Tim's wife of what I was going to do. She promised not to tell him anything about the presentation

On the night of the exhibit I asked Tim to shoot some photos of me making a presentation to Harrison Roberts our local chamber official, member of the Singing Cowboys and Ramcel telephone executive. You can see from the photo below that Tim took his job of shooting the supposed presentation to Harrison very seriously. Tim's trademark is the flash in his left hand while operating the camera with his right hand.

As you can see by the photo below, Tim has finally caught on to what Harrison, his wife, myself and everybody in the room but Tim knew. You can also see part of the presented photo. Look also below and you can see this entire presentation photo.
